Chair
Cllr T Hardman
I joined the Town Council in 2022 and shortly after became the Chair of the Council. I joined because I had just moved to Earby and wanted to do what I could to make our brilliant, small town even better, with a particular focus on provision for young people.
I am a teacher and before that I worked with children in care with emotional and behavioural difficulties. I grew up close to Earby and have lived all over Northern England and, for a short while, New Zealand.
My main interests outside of work and the council are Rugby – I played for Clitheroe RUFC for some time – and restoring old vehicles, particularly Ford cars and tractors.
As Chair of the council, I’m committed to making sure we have a Council which meets the needs of everyone in the town and is welcoming and accessible to all.
